Ordained minister. Explored the spiritual and emotional needs of over 1,300 patients, families, and staff each year
  • Developed and conducted 5-step assessment to benchmark patients’ emotional well-being. Created customized care plans to address expressed and unexpressed needs; reduced inpatient time by one day for patients with care plan
  • Formed strategic alliances with healthcare providers to share insights about patient background. Cross-functional collaborations reduced patient costs by decreasing medication dependence and increasing use of alternative care methods such as meditation, prayer, and art therapy
  • Authored grant to secure $600,000 in federal funding for positive health outcomes for patients living with HIV/AIDS
  • Recipient of 2014 P. Wesley Aitken Award for Chaplain of the Year – gifted annually to one outstanding chaplain
